CDKL5 Gene Atlas

An interactive map of a single gene across every scale — DNA, RNA, protein, neuron, network, organism — showing how one mutation ripples from a broken protein to a seizing brain. Built to make the biology of a rare disease legible at a glance, comparing the healthy gene against each class of disease-causing variant. Part of a larger decision-intelligence system in development for drug-discovery programs.

About

Making science legible.

Founded by Andreas Borg in 2001, Elevated builds the interactive tools, installations and interfaces that make complex biological, medical and physical systems understandable — from museum-scale public work to scientific and clinical data. Today we work primarily with biotech teams, research institutions and cultural clients who want visualization done with scientific rigor and design craft in the same room.
